Hello, and welcome to this blog for the NASA/Canadian Space Agency/McGill University Spaceward Bound Arctic 2008 expedition.
Did you know that one of the co-investigators for the Phoenix lander currently on Mars' north pole was on this mission to the Arctic? And that he wants your comments and questions about the mission?
Go to quest.nasa.gov, follow the Spaceward Bound Arctic 2008 link, and check out the site. You can find information about the field site, biographies of NASA and Canadian Space Agency scientists on the expedition, AND the trip's science themes.
The team looked at microbial life in the ice, mineralogy of the area, and driving a rover, amongst other activities. Leave comments here, or e-mail questions and comments to rpalassou@arc.nasa.gov and rpalassoupleasanton.k12.ca.us
